Our Chakra System

Our bodies are made up of subtle energy centers. When these centers are block, the energy cannot flow freely. Our goal as humans is to keep our Chakras healthy and open to allow all the good, positive energy to flow through us.

The word Chakra translates to wheel or disc in Sanskrit. Sanskrit is the sacred language of Hinduism and of historical texts of Buddhism and Jainism. Think of each chakra as a spinning vortex of energy.  They start at the base of your spine and travel up the spine from there -- all they way up and out of the top of your head. Just as the entire Universe is made up of spinning vortexes of energy, so are we.  Everything is Energy and Energy is Everything.  Energy is in everything, our food, our clothing, our thoughts and feelings.
